Hump Day Hurdles: The Blame Game

It’s not a bad gig and I’m so grateful for the work I get to do around the world.
I’m traveling more often than I have in years, which is always an adventure. I was telling a colleague last night at a client dinner that travel for work often feels like jumping into a pool without knowing the water temperature.

My partner and I both raised a brow.
Eventually, after she left and he was done with the restroom, he left as calmly as he arrived. We all speculated wildly.
And the first words out of our mouths were something like:
“What was his problem? She just went in there! Why was he so impatient?!”
It took me a little while to recognize we were all experiencing a fundamental attribution error.
