What I’m Reading: The Heart’s Invisible Furies by John Boyne. I’m trying to bulk up on my modern Irish authors and this book is incredible.
What I’m Listening to: Lots of CASTLEBEAT. They are so fantastic - synthy dream pop goodness.
Here in Minnesota snow has been doing that thing it does that most of us expect but don’t want: the late spring snow. Last Sunday night it was pretty and fluffy and our wheaten terrier was bounding around joyously in the fresh fallen snow.
Then it rained, and then it all froze over, which is another classic Minnesota weather pattern.
Foiled by Third Winter yet again.
But now, nearly a week later, the snow has melted and Mud Season begins.
I’ll be honest: it hasn’t been an easy week for me.
