It has been a magically snowy day here in Minneapolis.
I love snow SO MUCH. So does our dog, Birdie. This morning we walked nearly 4 miles all over our beloved city just taking in the beauty of the snow.
Snow here is the BEST, in my opinion, unless:
you have to drive in it
It’s after March 15. Yep, that’s my cutoff when I’m ready for spring.
But for now, I’m loving it, ready to make nachos tonight and sip on some seltzer lounging in front of the fireplace.

So during a coffee meetup this week my friend Jake told me his company just sent out the annual email that he said always makes him roll his eyes.
"Employee engagement surveys are here! Be sure to fill them out by x date because your feedback is important!”
Jake snorted, took a sip of his coffee, then said,
“Employee surveys are such bullshit.”
This response didn’t surprise me, as I’ve worked in and around the employee engagement space for 20+ years.
“Do you ever fill it out?” I asked Jake.
He shrugged. “Some years I do, some years I don’t. Doesn’t seem to make a difference either way.”
So, I think a LOT of people think employee surveys are bullshit for a few reasons.
